On Tuesday 9th April 2024 Fay and Iain visited the Indoor Bowls Club, they both enjoyed a cup of tea in our lounge over which they were informed of the achievements of our Juniors, Members and those with a learning disability. Plus we discussed our need to continually raise funds. They have since sent details of prospective UK Government funding that they felt we would qualify for.
ay and Iain were then given an introduction to the basics of the game and both had a go, which they enjoyed so much, they are going to try to bring some members of the Conservative Association for a social afternoon / evening of bowls and possibly a meal.
We look forward to seeing them again soon.
